With the main focus of this infographic being on Sexual Assault Awareness, I wanted to create a predominantly illustrative composition with attention to color scheme and hierarchy. The use of strong contrast and bold sans-serif type evokes the heaviness of the topic, still allowing the illustrative elements to give an approachable aesthetic. A balance of hierarchy is seen throughout, this allows the information to be read at a consistent and prioritized pace. Statistics that may be deemed more shocking are more easily visible than others. The viewer can be guided by the lines that give structure to the labeled sections.
